UK Canal Culvert Inspections & Cleaning
For the past three years, we have carried out inspections and cleaning of both gravity and symphonic culvert systems for British Waterways in the Scotland, North West, Yorkshire and South East regions.
Using a variety of techniques, including remote cctv and man-entry we have surveyed many hundreds of kilometres of canal culverts. Once collected, the survey data is used by BW to asses the structural integrity and serviceability of the structures. Following this process, allows essential repairs to be scheduled by BW Engineers.
Many culverts are only accessible by boat. However, our BW culvert team has over 70 years (collective) experience with this type of work and whether access is required by boat or four-wheel drive survey rig, our experience and equipment ensures we deliver.
