Connectivity Surveys

Connectivity Surveys

Using a variety of methods to prove connectivity within a drainage network including Dye testing, Sound Testing, CCTV and Radio Detective Sondes, we are able to provide clients with up-to-date electronic plans and comprehensive data sets at the start of any development project. Establishing the drainage lay-out is a pre-requisite for many development or re-development projects. Key components of a connectivity survey are as follows:

  • Identify all above ground features i.e. RWPs, SVPs, Gullies etc.
  • Investigate & prove direction of flows on (SW & FW) systems
  • Identify source(s) of inlet to system and any outfall(s)
  • Lift MH covers an conduct visual inspection of MH chambers
  • Obtain Invert depths
  • Prove connectivity with appropriate method e.g. Dye, Sound, CCTV or Sonde
  • Check existing sewer records for errors and and MH data
  • Generate drainage network plan based on findings
