Culvert Surveys

Aquajet has the specialist skills and experience required to deliver first class survey results to project engineers whether the culvert is part of the Highways, Waterways or Canals Infrastructure or a redevelopment site asset. Culvert Surveys are one of our core competencies and we have a number of Framework Agreements for this type of survey. Inspecting and cleaning many hundreds of culverted watercourses throughout the UK for clients such as British Waterways, The Environment Agency and Network Rail, we have developed a significant expertise in this area. Key activities linked with Culvert Surveys are as follows:

  • Sewer Traversing involving man-entry into deep and long duration surveys (several kilometres) with full BA (airline)
  • Full surveys of confined spaces
  • Site Specific Method statements and risk assessments
  • Surveys by fully remotely controlled axial viewing or pan and rotate cameras.

Note: We can also survey other types of pipelines including enclosed ancillaries or structures e.g. boreholes, shafts, oil lines, bridge columns etc.
